About

This page is my dumping spot for all things theory, practice, and professional presentations. Here students and parents can see what we have been doing in class, colleagues can see my current research and writings in the rhetoric and composition field, and I can categorize my thinking.

My bachelors degree is in English and biology for secondary education with a masters in Written Communication: Teaching of Writing. Currently, my research is centering around writing assessment, assessment tools, and the rhetoric of the assessment situation. I am a teacher consultant with the Eastern Michigan Writing Project out of Ypsilanti, MI.
